"Peaceful Harbor" Soft Pastel Painting

Just before the sun sets, we often see a spectacular display of color. It's all about the Light and the way it reflects on and through surfaces, through water and air. This artwork was inspired by a photo taken by talented photographer, Chip Plyler, at a marina in St. Simon's Island, Georgia. He was most gracious in giving me permission to paint it.

This is a soft pastel painting on archival paper and is shipped unframed. In order to protect it from damage, it is secured behind glassine paper and sandwiched between two pieces of foam core board. Helpful information for handling and framing is included.
