Can I purchase an original painting with framing?

No. I only ship original paintings unframed because of the potential for pastel dust to loosen behind the glass during shipping. I do provide helpful information for you in having your painting framed.

Do you offer additional frame colors and matting for fine art paper and canvas prints?

For now, I am only able to offer the options you see with each product listing. If there is a specific option you would like to see added for a product, please email me. I'd love to hear your suggestions and will use your feedback as I add options in the future.

How will my artwork be packaged?

Stretched canvas prints are shrink wrapped and then followed by foam or bubble wrap. It is then sealed in a corrugated box.

Fine art paper prints are protected by placing them into a clear plastic bag before shipping. After being bagged, art prints up to 9x12" are mailed inside cardboard stay-flat envelopes. Prints larger than this are mailed inside kraft mailing tubes.

Original Artwork is carefully secured under glassine paper and sandwiched between foam core board for protection. It is then wrapped and securely boxed to prevent movement.

What if my order arrives damaged?

I guarantee your order will arrive in perfect condition, but in the rare case where your item is damaged during shipping, please email photos of the damaged product within 7 days of receipt to lkickart@gmail.com so that we can begin processing your refund or replacement.

How do I care for my artwork?

  • Original pastel paintings must be framed by someone with experience in handling this type of artwork. Your order will arrive with information regarding handling and framing your painting. You will want to familiarize yourself with the nuances of pastel art. Learn more About Soft Pastels.
  • For fine art prints, you can use a soft dry cloth or a feather duster for a quick cleaning. Avoid displaying your fine art print in an area with direct sunlight to keep it from fading over time. Framing the print is highly recommended to protect it from damages.
